1. Join the Discord
   Hop in and verify to see the #netplay-lobby and #league channels.

2. Prepare your setup

   • Use the Dolphin Emulator build we recommend in Discord (NetPlay compatible).

   • Have your own legal copy of the game ISO (see Legal below).

   • Plug in a controller (Xbox/PS/Steam Deck all fine).

3. Matchmaking

   • Go to #netplay-lobby and post to find a match partner.

   • Either you host by starting a netplay session and providing the code to the session or your match partner will.

4. Play

   • Launch Dolphin → Tools → Start NetPlay → Join with the provided code.

   • Make sure your Game List shows the same ISO as the host (checksum must match).

   • Once everyone is green-checked, click Start.

Requirements

• Dolphin Emulator (NetPlay build) – link is pinned in #setup on Discord.

• Legal game ISO – you must dump your own disc; we do not distribute game files.

• Stable connection – Ethernet or strong Wi-Fi; <60 ms ping recommended.

• Controller – Xbox/PlayStation/Pro/Steam Deck supported.

Troubleshooting

• Can’t see rooms/channels? Finish Discord verification.

• “ISO mismatch / Not verified”: your game file doesn’t match the host. Re-dump or grab the correct hash noted in #setup.

• Lag / stutter: lower buffer by 2, switch to Ethernet, close background downloads, or pick a closer host.

• Controller not detected: Dolphin → Controllers → Port 1 = Standard Controller → Configure.

• Desync mid-game: rehost and rejoin; ensure all players use the same settings and ISO.
